gaṇḍānta गंडांत

In the Zodiacal wheel, fire follows water.

 

 गंडांत is the state of pure stability/instability where water is transitioning into fire.

​When water heats up it becomes steam. Imagine a state that causes this steam to become so atmospherically agitated that it literally begins to burn.

 

Gandanta is this. It is the knife-edge point, the perfect inevitability. It is the chaos edge. This is the place where disorder finds itself impeccably encoded into perfect order. The endless intensity of a water droplet as it learns how to set itself alight.

After Pisces comes Aries but in between we have this enormous knot; a passage point, where neither water nor fire can be distinguished in the excitable chaotic order of Gandanta.
